Process Methods

Food Process Technology

Fruit  pulp is the product that is  extracted from the processing of fresh fruits. The fruits and vegetables used by Frut X utilizes the aseptic fruit process which involves sorting, checking fruit  quality, ripening, washing, destoning, refining, standardization of fruit pulp, checking of consistency,  brix consistency, and PH levels. Advanced machinery is utilized for  aseptic fruit processing which makes  the process easy.  The  fruit pulps can be stored for approximately 2 years. The pulps can be utilized for  producing beverages, fruit drinks and various food processing industries. Demanding customer expectations and a gradual increase in the consumption of organic fruit pulp and paste boost the revenue growth of the fruit pulp manufacturing industry.

Tropical fruit pulp process

Tropical fruit pulp process

As the product is passed out of the online strainer, it is sterilized. The product is heated at 110 degrees Celcius and then it is cooled down to 2-3 seconds.  This tropical fruit pulp process ensures the shelf life of the product is extended. The maximum  tropical fruit pulps process is  a hot break and extraction follows the same process.

Frut X is an expert in  fruit pulp and paste manufacturing process and infrastructure. It  empowers  to process a wide range of fruit pulp products in various packaging products. The manufacturing plant was designed following European standards. The raw materials utilized proceed  through mechanized conveyors  for unloading and feeding fruits. The plant is fitted with  Alfa Laval sterilizer and a triple effect evaporator. This evaporator is a specially designed hybrid that creates a concentrate of the highest color. The output capacity of this evaporator is 7.5 MT per hour of 28 – 30 Brix concentrate.  We can proudly state that the  fruit pulp processing plant at Frut X is  modern and hygienic  of all plants in the Indian mango pulp industry.

Aseptic Packaging

The aseptic mango pulp processing includes:

  • Selecting ripe mangoes,

  • Washing with disinfectant,

  • Tip cutting,

  • Final inspection of fruits,

  • Destoning,

  • Fine pulping,

  • Preheating, and

  • Decantation or separation.

The evaporation process is carried out for concentrated mango products solely. As the quality is the chief factor in the mango pulp industry, Frut X ensures mango pulp processing fulfills the expectations of the customers on a global level. The mango pulp passes through foreign matter control devices such as magnetic trap, and strainer. The thermal processing is done through aseptic sterilizer machines and packed in aseptic bags in MS drums.  It is always ensured that the manufacturing process of mango pulp never comprises the aroma of the fruit and natural flavors are maintained in the final product.

Guava Pulp processing method

Guava Pulp processing method

Aseptic guava puree and concentrate is processed from a mature and meticulously selected variety of white and pink guava fruits. Processing of guava pulp involves:

  • Sorting,

  • Ripening,

  • Washing with disinfectant,

  • Final inspection,

  • Fruit milling,

  • Pulping and finishing,

  • And decantation.

The evaporation process is done to produce Guava concentrates.

There are multiple concerns prevalent in the market and amongst the people regarding food safety due to the presence of pathogens and microorganisms. Keeping this in mind, the processing of Guava is undertaken with care. Strainer, magnetic traps and metal detectors are used to remove the speck particles which assists in ensuring that the product is free from harmful substances. The guava pulp is sterilized by a PLC based aseptic sterilizer machine and packed in aseptic bags in MS drums. The growing demand for the guava pulp requirement in the international and domestic markets adds value to the product and ensures the processing of guava is carried out in healthy and hygienic conditions.

Papaya Pulp processing method

Papaya Pulp processing method

Aseptic papaya puree’s extraction is undertaken by the utilization of mature and ripened red papaya fruits. Papaya pulp processing involves:

  • Sorting of red papayas,

  • Washing with fresh and chlorinated water,

  • Slicing,

  • Final inspection,

  • And Crushing.

The processing of papaya pulp involves preheating the pulp at 85-90 deg C to remove pathogenic microorganisms. The preheated pulp is then stored in the pulp collection tank and passed through the strainer, a decanter for removal of specks, and a magnetic trap and metal detector to completely remove any foreign matter. The evaporator is utilized in the production of puree concentrates. The evaporator absorbs the water content from the fruit pulp and provides it with uniform consistency for the concentrate products.

The pulp is then processed thermally in a sterilizer and packed in pre-sterilized aseptic bags. It is further stored in MS drums with a poly liner inside. The drums are inspected before filling them with the fruit pulp.  The drum is packed, labeled, and stored in an ambient temperature warehouse. The pulp is inspected multiple times during the pulp processing and post packaging.
Frut X ensures to deliver a quality product wherein our customers are satisfied with our services.
